Naturum Vattenriket is close to our hotel and is one of the city's most popular tourist destinations. Besides the exhibitions, there is also a cosy café with locally produced organic food and a lovely roof terrace overlooking the city.
Within easy reach from our hotel, you will also find attractions such as Bäackaskog Castle, Regional Museum Kristianstad with Kristianstad Center for Contemporary Art and Kristianstad City Park, Tivoliparken. The park is a perfect place to spend a warm summer day. Take a stroll along bird ponds, gardens and the orangery. Children can play at the fun playground, and the summer café is a great place when it is time for a break. The theatre from the early 1900s is located in the middle of the park. Here is also a large scene with many great performances, concerts and other events.
At the coast, you will find the popular destination Åhus. Åhus is a charming town with many extensive beaches, a majestic church from the 1100s and many cosy cafes. Enjoy an ice cream on the well-known ice cream boat or try the local ice cream brand Ottoglass. Åhus is a lovely tourist destination with activities for all ages at a convenient distance from Kristianstad.
