Built in 1906, this impressive building is home to this prestigious hotel which is centrally situated by the Motala river. It has a beautiful banquet hall, a prime waterfront location and a gastropub with a spacious outdoor area.

The hotel is beautifully located by the Motala River in a luxurious building from the turn of the last century, with walking distance to shopping malls and restaurants.
With 190 rooms and 11 meeting rooms, we can accommodate many guests at the same time and convey a homely atmosphere. Our pub The Bishops Arms is located on the riverside of the hotel and has the best view in town.

The room. It was a great, big room to an awesome price! Nothing needed to be done better. I only stayed one night and was very satisfied!

Bra: Läge och pris Mindre bra: Långsam hiss, man får vänta länge varje gång man ska åka. Nattpersonalen var snäsig när jag kom och bad om en nyckel på natten. Letade efter salt och peppar under frukosten, ett fåtal bord hade det men alldeles för få. Fick tillslut salt kar av personalen, men det var som en klump påväg till gegga inuti märkte jag när jag öppnade botten och fick ut lite klumpigt (fuktigt?) salt eftersom inget kom ut ur öppningen. Inte fräscht..

the service, the breakfast buffe. and the room was lovely the coffe machine and water kettle didn´t have an outlet, and no power socket behind the bench that they were on. so had to move them

Excellent location in the city
Fint rum, härliga sängar, rent och fräscht, tyst och lugnt. God frukost och mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal! Vi kommer absolut att boka igen.
The staff is so nice we felt very welcome. The level of service was very good both in the restaurant and reception. Around the hotel there are nice surroundings to walk along. Extra plus for the welcome and care for my dog. Room service was fast and the breakfast was very generous with most things you could want for breakfast.

Bra läge, trevligt rum Väldigt trångt badrum, knäna i väggen när man sitter på toa. Rum 527. Frukosten var god med bedrövligt överbelastad. Lång lång kö, personalen hann inte fylla på och inte duka av bord i den takt som hade behövts. Ingen skugga över dem som personer, de gjorde sitt bästa med organisering hade behövt vara bättre. När det är så många inbokade hade det inte varit konstigt om vi hade fått olika intervall för frukosten. Det tror jag alla hade tjänat på.

Lördagens frukost. Frukostbrödet söndag upplevdes en dag gammalt. Annars en perfekt frukost.
Pannkakorna på frukosten Isolering i väggar/ventialtion så man slipper höra varenda ljud från rummen runt omkring. Gick inte att jobba eller sova utan hörlurar.

The room and the really good personal
Location was the best. Cleansing the rooms better. Strong smell from bathroom during the entire stay. Better planing at the breakfast (a line took 25-30min to get through) and hard to find seats. Go back to slot-times during breakfast.

We offer our guests parking in cooperation with a nearby parking garage. The garage has a maximum height of 190 cm. The cost is 190 SEK/night and the ticket is bought at the front desk. Please note! The ticket must be prominently displayed in the car window. We recommend that you pre-book your garage spot as places are limited. Please call +46 11-36 41 00.
There are also fee-based municipal parking lots nearby the hotel.
Our room service is available Monday–Saturday, 18:00–22:00. You can find the room service menu in your room. Call 120 from your room phone to order.
At Elite Grand Hotel, we want to promote health and therefore we offer all who likes to run and exercise default routes in the app Runkeeper. We have produced our favorite rounds as you can easily follow, three routes of varying length from 2,5 to 10 kilometers.
We offer laundry service in cooperation with a local dry cleaning company. Please leave your laundry to the front desk before 9 am, and you will get it back the same day no later than 6 pm.
Please note that the laundry service only applies to weekdays.
