Trevligt bemötande från personalen.
Att det var så barnvänligt, barnen fick en egen välkomstpåse med gosedjur bland annat. Stort och rymligt familjerum med badkar. Lite mer noggrann städning på rummet hade önskats. Fönsterbrädorna var inte rengjorda och badkaret fick vi också rengöra lite extra. Större papperskorg i badrummet hade också varit bra när man har barn med blöja.

Frukosten; mycket stort och varierat utbud. Slitet rum: fläckar i mattan, slitna möbler, märke i handfatet. Sängen inte i nivå med andra hotell, då den kändes billig och inte "fluffig".

I love your hotel, the location, the staff and the service. Nice and simple to check in/check out. Clean, quiet and nice rooms. Lovely breakfast, makes a perfect start of the rest of the day. I didn't find any newspapers and asked for it. But it was missing in the breakfast room. No big problem but as a "hint" for the upcoming visits. ;)

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal samt utsikten från hotellrummet. Dess värre så var det slut på Coca-Cola i lobbyn men det är ju inte mycket man kan påverka då dem inväntade en ny leverans.

Att träffa en vän Kommer inte på något! Allt var bra
Badrum var otrolig trångt. Om man inte ens kan stå två personer i badrummet så är ett dubbelrum inte ett dubbelrum. Inte rolig med eggröra från eggpulver (min gissning) och det blev ganska trångt på frukost också. Andra dagen var gravad lax lite funky. Visst kom vi sent men receptionen var måttligt engagerad.

Trevlig personal. Bra frukost och numera bra logistik i frukostmatsalen. Rena och fina rum. Som alltid är golven i badrummet iskalla!!!! Skulle även vara bra med en krok för handduken i badrummet.

Sköna sängar och härlig frukost Vet inte
Fräscht och prisvärt. Hade köpt till välkomstpresent till sonen som fyllde år. Detta hade man missat så fick springa till receptionen och ordna fram något som funkade. Känns tråkigt när man betalat extra för något och ska behöva påminna. Sonen blev även lite besviken eftersom vi hade hypat att det skulle finnas något på rummet till honom.

Behind the hotel is a public parking garage, Sesam. Parking costs 140 SEK per day. Payment is made directly at the parking garage and cannot be pre-booked. The parking garage is open daily from 06:00 to 24:00. Outside these hours, you can enter using a code provided at the reception.
In the Sesam parking garage, there are two charging stations on the ground floor, with a maximum charging time of 3 hours. Additional charging stations with longer charging times are available at the municipal parking garage Per Brahe, located approximately 700 meters from the hotel. These cannot be pre-booked.
Adjacent to the hotel, there is a public handicapped parking space as well as two charging stations, with a maximum charging time of 2 hours. These cannot be pre-booked.

History of the hotel
What was at that time known as Jönköpings Hotell was built in 1850. This was an enormously bold venture in a city with only 7000 residents. The hotel is one of the country’s oldest and most famous hotels outside the capital. When it opened in January 1860, it was the largest hotel in the country. The rationale behind the huge construction was Jönköping’s strategic location as a rail and road junction, which made it a natural stopover station on the finalized South Main Line.
Right from the outset, the hotel boasted a number of special features. On the ground floor, there was a restaurant, a café, a billiards room, an inn, bank offices and, after a few years, a bathhouse. The middle floor consisted primarily of hotel rooms and the upper floor housed banquet halls, clubrooms and a few other rooms. The Freemasons, then as now, held quarterly on the attic floor, which includes the great assembly hall, Johannessalen.
In 1863, the banquet and assembly rooms were finished two floors up. Since this time, the hotel has boasted the finest banquet facilities in Jönköping County. The hall was magnificent, with glittering gas-burning chandeliers, mirrored walls that gave the illusion of another room beyond, and décor that makes visitors feel as if they had been transported to a fairytale castle. Ever since this room has hosted countless magnificent and memorable balls and banquets.
