Overlooking Malmö C is our unique Elite Hotel Savoy offering a special atmosphere and stylish rooms. Here you are next to the channel, near shops and entertainment, in a hotel with nooks and crannies, chandeliers and impressive ceiling height.
The hotel consists of two buildings, the main building and a nearby property, Lilla Hotellet. The Bishop Arms and our conference venues are also part of the hotel.
During the autumn of 2023 until spring of 2025, the Elite Hotel Savoy will undergo a facade renovation to restore its former, ancient appearance. We look forward to the result and wish our guests a warm welcome both during and after the renovation.

About Elite Hotel Savoy in Malmö
Elite Hotel Savoy, opposite Malmö C, is one of the oldest and most special hotels in Sweden. Once a tavern, dating back to the 14th century, it’s hard to imagine the number of people that have been accommodated in this spot and enjoyed food, beverage, and special occasions.
Elite Hotel Savoy is a unique hotel and an excellent choice for business travellers and people who want to enjoy a weekend in Malmö in a special hotel. The K-marked building is renovated with great care. You’ll note the special atmosphere once you step into the welcoming lobby and take the stairs or the elevator to your room. The hotel consists of two buildings, a main building and a nearby property, Lilla Hotellet
The Bishops Arms, our gastropub with a genuine British atmosphere, offers a classic pub menu and a wide range of beer and whiskey.
Elite Hotel Savoy offers 117 hotel rooms in the main building, a banquet hall and four conference rooms with a capacity for up to 120 people. Adjacent to the conference rooms is a nice gathering area for mingling and events. At Lilla Hotellet there are 72 standard hotel rooms and a shop in the lobby for the purchase of food and drink 24 hours a day.

Mycket bra
Hela hotellet var under renovering och inplastat vilket inte framgick någonstans när jag bokade eller i välkomst mail. Bokade superior rum men det var slitet och elementen rusade och gick ej att reglera så vaktmästare var tvungen att komma. Handfatet läckte så jag var tvungen at lägga handdukar under. När jag meddelade receptionen vid utchekning lyssnade de knappt.
Ett gammalt anrikt hotell med perfekt läge. Vänlig personal, klassiskt inredda rum med tillräckligt med garderobsutrymme och avställningsytor. Rekommenderar.

The staff were really lovely and kind. But I found the room a little basic and cold because the radiators didn’t work and windows were very drafty. I also got given a meat burger when I ordered a plant burger.

Tillsammans med mina två barn hade vi en härlig upplevelse. Sängen var super skön men främst var personalen väldigt tillmötesgående och trevliga särskilt Anders som var hjälpsam, lättsam och väldigt snäll.

Bo inte här! Iskalla rum med för små element för kvm i den stora sviten. Ingen roomservice kvällstid då vi ville ha lite go dricka. Personal i receptionen frågar om man är berusad av alkohol. Mycket märkligt hotell! Rekommenderas INTE!
Mycket trevlig hjälpsam personal. För hög musik i frukost matsalen Dörröppnare fungerar inte i hissen. Tungt att öppna dörrar utan dem när jag använder rullator
Savoy i Malmö äventyr favorithotell men nattklubben gör att det blir mer tveksamt att boka där. Dunket hördes tydligt upp på plan 4. Tillsammans med den långvariga renoveringen kan göra att vi tillfälligt byter Elitehotell. Men som sagt annars en favorit.
Upplevelsen fick en dålig start då vi inte visste att hotellet renoverades. Detta innebar att lobbyn inte gav något trevligt intryck samt att vi hade byggnadsställningar utanför samtliga fönster i rummet. När vi ville använda bastun i ”relaxavdelning” så möts vi av bröte och annat material inne i bastun. Vår rumsnyckel funkade ej till dörren till gymmet och när vi ringer till receptionen för att be om hjälp så tvingas vi springa ner och upp för trappor etc. Vid frukosten saknades porslin och bl.a. frukten var ofräsch. För den pengen vi betalar för detta hotell innebär detta sammanlagt ett väldigt lågt betyg då vi jämför med andra hotell i samma prisklass.
Vi har bott på många Elite runt om i Sverige och alltid tyckt att det känns lyxigt. Elite Savoy är inte det tyvärr, dock ska tilläggas att hotellet just nu genomgår någon slags renovering och det är ett väldigt gammalt hotell. Men Elite Plaza på Gustav Adolfs torg är såå mycket bättre.Fräschare och bättre på många sätt, rummen på Savoy är gamla och golven knarrar otroligt mycket. Saknas bl a sminkspegel för oss som ej ser så bra, frukosten är lite väl enkel. Jämför vi med Plaza är deras otroligt lyxig. Personalen på Savoy är trevlig och tillmötesgående, så som på Plaza.

Vi hade en mycket trevlig vistelse på anrika Elite Hotel Savoy, och ville inte åka hem. Mycket trevlig och serviceinriktad personal både i receptionen och restaurangen. Fint rum, #309. Och en fantastisk frukostbuffé. Vi kommer garanterat tillbaka!

We collaborate with “P-Malmo” that has a parking garage about 200 meters from the hotel. Buy the ticket at the front desk before you park and feel welcome to leave the luggage with us while you’re parking. There is no need to pre-book as there are always spaces available in the garage. There are four spaces on the third floor that offer charging stations for an electric vehicle. We can however never guarantee that those spaces are free.

Laundry service is available 5 days a week during weekdays. Guest laundry left at the front desk before 9 a.m. will be ready for collection approximately 5 p.m. the same day.

The hotel, built in 1862 is one of our country’s oldest and most prestigious hotels. In the year 1902, the hotel was named after the elegant Hotel Savoy in London.
Since 1983, Elite Hotel Savoy is owned by Elite Hotels of Sweden.
