Overlooking Malmö C is our unique Elite Hotel Savoy offering a special atmosphere and stylish rooms. Here you are next to the channel, near shops and entertainment, in a hotel with nooks and crannies, chandeliers and impressive ceiling height.
Our hotel is currently undergoing an extensive facade renovation, running from autumn 2023 to autumn 2025. The goal is to restore the building’s historic character and preserve its beauty for the future. Savoy has stood proudly for more than 100 years and we are ensuring it remains just as magnificent for the next 100 years.
In 2026, the work will continue on the part of the façade facing Hamngatan. We look forward to the final result and warmly welcome both new and returning guests, whether you visit us during or after the renovation.
Between autumn 2023 and autumn 2025, Elite Hotel Savoy will undergo a comprehensive façade renovation aimed at restoring the building’s distinguished historic character. We look forward to unveiling the results and extend a warm welcome to all our guests throughout the renovation period and beyond.

About Elite Hotel Savoy in Malmö
Elite Hotel Savoy, opposite Malmö C, is one of the oldest and most special hotels in Sweden. Once a tavern, dating back to the 14th century, it’s hard to imagine the number of people that have been accommodated in this spot and enjoyed food, beverage, and special occasions.
Elite Hotel Savoy is a unique hotel and an excellent choice for business travellers and people who want to enjoy a weekend in Malmö in a special hotel. The K-marked building is renovated with great care. You’ll note the special atmosphere once you step into the welcoming lobby and take the stairs or the elevator to your room. The Bishops Arms, our gastropub with a genuine British atmosphere, offers a classic pub menu and a wide range of beer and whiskey.
Elite Hotel Savoy offers 117 hotel rooms, a banquet hall and four conference rooms with a capacity for up to 120 people. Adjacent to the conference rooms is a nice gathering area for mingling and events.

Quick check-in, nice room newly refurbed, lovely service from Staff, a great breakfast bag delivered due to my early take off and checkout. There was a little noise from the club since i was located on the first floor.
Närheten till centrum Det osade rök inifrån hotellet när vi kom in på kvällen. Jag trodde att hotellet var rökfritt. Om det inte är det måste ni vara tydligare med det på hemsidan.

De vänliga och serviceinriktade receptionisterna. Har naturligtvis glömt namnen men skulle gärna vilja framföra ett särskilt tack till mannen som, till synes, jobbade 24 timmar/dygn lördag och söndag men trots det idel leenden och lösning på alla problem. Men, hallå! En utmärkt frukost och kaffet serveras ur stora plåtbehållare. Ljummet och trist. Det visade sig att espressomaskinen inte ens var påslagen.. Om hotellet (till skillnad från alla andra Elitehotels jag bott på) är för snåla för att ha en espresso att erbjuda betalar jag självklart själv för den. Nu fick jag springa över till Centralstationen och köpa en dubbel espresso på Pressbyrån. 😕

Fint mottagande och uppgraderad till fint rum. Frukosten var lite stökig och ej så avkopplande.
Skön säng, bra produkter för hårvård/hud, trevlig personal, jättefin restaurang och bra frukost! Det enda jag tänkte på var att det var lite svårt att ta sig till rummet om man har barnvagn, är väldigt gammal eller är rörelsehindrad. Jag skulle gå igenom två små hissar+ var tvungen att gå några trappsteg för att ta mig till rummet. Det var absolut inga problem för min del, var mer som en rolig labyrint, men jag kan tänka mig att det är problematiskt för vissa andra människor. Det kanske dock redan är något ni tänker på där ni delar ut rummen.
The food was incredible There was no table to work with in the room. I would replace one of the bedside table lamps with a work table. Also, accessing the rooms from number 600 was just difficult with a suitcase. Going down and climbing up tons of stairs with no easy elevator access was not comfortable.
Fin frukost Rummet var ganske sliten, duschen var smutsig, damm på gulvet. Sängen kändes ganska gammal och rummet var instängt / konstig lukt så fick vädra ut när vi kom.
The staff was outstanding, really striving to make our stay perfect! We celebrated our wedding at Elite Hotel Savoy, and the day could not have been better! The day was well-organized, that my partner and I could just lean back and enjoy the day without any stress or worry. Several of our guests commented on how fantastic the food was, and especially our vegetarian and vegan guests were amazed at feeling that their food had been as well planned and executed as the main menu. The restaurant and bar staff were not only extremely competent, but were also super pleasant and added to the general ambience of the party.
personalen Har besökt hotellet många gånger senaste 5 åren. Tyvärr blir hotellet allt sämre. Frukosten blir allt sämre och hotellet är slitet.
Med central placering i suverän närhet till Malmö centralstation men också med stadens puls runt hörnet i kombination med välkomnande personal och underbar miljö och fina rum är det ett upplagt för fler besök! Haft bättre tillgång till utrymmen för tillfälligt nyttjande innan incheckning!
Toppen läge och trevlig service! Frukosten kan gärna ha ett bredare utbud. Rummen är något slitna och skulle behöva en uppfräschning.

Stay together with your pet in your room for an additional cost of 300 SEK/night. Take the time to experience the beautiful nature and enjoy long walks around the hotel area during your stay. A good night’s sleep is essential for your wellbeing and an important part of your stay with us. We offer you a range of pillows in order for you to find the perfect one.
We collaborate with “P-Malmo” that has a parking garage about 200 meters from the hotel. Buy the ticket at the front desk before you park and feel welcome to leave the luggage with us while you’re parking. There is no need to pre-book as there are always spaces available in the garage. There are four spaces on the third floor that offer charging stations for an electric vehicle. We can however never guarantee that those spaces are free.
Price: 290 SEK/day
Laundry service is available 5 days a week during weekdays. Guest laundry left at the front desk before 9 a.m. will be ready for collection approximately 5 p.m. the same day.
Do you have a teenager in the family? You can now book a separate room for your teenager at a favorable rate. Please contact us, and we will assist you with the booking.
Please note that the booking is only available on weekends and school holidays, subject to availability, and must be in conjunction with booking the parents' room at the regular price.

History of the hotel
The hotel, built in 1862 is one of our country’s oldest and most prestigious hotels. In the year 1902, the hotel was named after the elegant Hotel Savoy in London.
Since 1983, Elite Hotel Savoy is owned by Elite Hotels of Sweden.
