The hotel, which previously went by the name City Hotel Örebro, has in the past year undergone a renovation of hotel rooms, lobby bar with reception and entrance and will continue to receive a facelift in its breakfast dining room with associated stairwell.
After a day of activities in Örebro, we suggest a relaxing moment in our popular wine bar. In the morning, our lovely breakfast buffet awaits you with everything you could want for a good start to the day.

Start from the hotel when you want to discover Örebro and the surrounding area. Popular tips are Galleria Vågen and Krämaren for shopping enthusiasts. A short walk takes you to Örebro Castle, Wadköping and Behrn Arena. The Conventum Arena is also close to the hotel, which makes it easy to walk or go to conferences, congresses, fairs and concerts.

Otroligt trevlig och tillmötesgående personal som gjorde det lilla extra för att vår vistelse skulle bli toppen. Sköna sängs och smakfullt inredda rum och reception.
Tyvärr mycket missnöjd med både rum och personalens bemötande. Rummet vi betalade över 1500 kr för skulle vara ett ”deluxe”-rum. Vi fick ett rum som mer liknade en mordplats. Riktigt äckligt med massor av blodstänk (eller bajs, ingen vet) på heltäckningsmattan bredvid sängen på båda sidor. Förra gästens skräp kvar på golvet. Lös kran, smutsiga bord, smutsiga fåtöljer och en standard så låg att jag inte någonsin kommer bo på ett Elite igen. Förslag på kompensation från hotellet: 300 kr i presentkort. Aldrig igen.
Otroligt trevlig personal, superfint bemötande från alla jag mötte - reception, städpersonal, frukost; verkligen otroligt bra service från alla! Något litet rum men väldigt skön säng!

Mysigt. Personalen både reception o frukost var toppen. Man blev välkomnad rejält. Glada miner överallt. Rum lite små men räckte gott till Bättre skyltning utanför
Fick skarp hjälp av Oscar att boka rum sent på kvällen då jag var helt slut och trött. Mkt vänlig personal! Inte mkt kan förbättras. Ni är väldigt bra som ni är!
Centralt, trevlig personal och bra frukost. Sängen kändes hård och de två kuddarna för stora med mycket stoppning. Om man ändå har 2 kuddar vore det bra med två olika stoppningar. En tunnare och en fluffigare.
Snooze söndagar och frukost En av anledningarna vi alltid bor på Elite är snooze sunday. Vid check in blev vi lovade att checka ut kl 14. Döm av vår förvåning när personal knackade på dörren kl 1130 och i princip skulle köra ut oss. Personen sa att nån sen check ut det har vi inte på det här hotellet. Det vore bra om HELA personalen kände till denna förmån för medlemmar.

Det fina bemötandet från personalen. Och hela atmosfären i både foajén och rummen, med jättesnygg inredning. Allt var bara så bra, och en riktigt god frukost. Besöker man Örebro, så är det detta hotell att rekommendera.
Hotellet i sin helhet, lagom stort, trevliga rum och personal, läget och en riktigt fin frukost inkl en riktigt krämig äggröra. Allt var toppen så inget!
Mycket bra service och bemötande av all personal oavsett position. Det renaste hotell, som vi någonsin bott på. Frukosten höll en hög klass. Väldigt uppskattat med små presenter till barnen och välkomstgåvan. Även att ni skapade en fin julstämning. Extrasängen var för hård. Det gick inte att reglera mellan de olika duschmunstyckena pga att ballofixen var trasig. Fönstret kärvade i öppning/stängning.
Väldigt skön, harmonisk och lugn atmosfär. Snabba att svara på frågor via mail inför. Trevliga och tillmötesgående. Inget att klaga på.

It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the hotel from the train and bus station. Walk East Bangatan towards the center. Turn left at Vasagatan and on the other side of Svartån right at Södra Strandgatan, right to Nygatan and right to Kungsgatan. City Hotel is located at Kungsgatan 24.
Arrival By Car
E20 From Stockholm, Västerås
Take the first exit that points towards Örebro Norr and Falun. Take Centrumleden towards Örebro. Turn left on Rudbecksgatan, after a viaduct you will see the hotel on the right.
From Karlstad, Oslo
Drive towards Örebro and choose the exit signposted for the centre, hospital and Aspholmen. Continue towards the center, turn right on Rudbecksgatan, after a viaduct you will see the hotel on the right.
From Norrköping
Follow Norrköpingsvägen/Rudbecksgatan past Örebro University. Continue towards the center, turn left at the intersection Rudbecksgatan/Trädgårdsgatan. Then right on Bondegatan and right Kungsgatan. City Hotel is located at Kungsgatan 24.
