Iskalla golv i badrummet. Rummet var dubbel rum 1500:- + För dyrt för den erhållna standarden . Ett gammal hus dör man tar ut lika mycket i pris som ett modernt hotell

In addition, we can offer the opportunity to store the bike in a locked space, washing and drying facilities for your clothes and access to tools for easier repair of the bike. We are happy to tell you about cycle paths, maps, sights and a lot of other things that are well worth knowing for you as a cyclist!
We can offer a gym on the fifth floor as well as a Spa and Relaxation Centre. The gym is free of charge for our hotel guests. In our Relaxation Centre, we have a common sauna, shower and a relaxation room. Our Relaxation Centre is available to hotel guests free of charge. Take the opportunity to relax after a working day, conference or shopping trip.
Enjoy a comfortable stay with your pets at our hotel. We offer a limited amount of rooms for those who want to bring their furry friend along. Stay together with your pet in your room for an additional cost of 200 SEK/night. Take the time to experience the beautiful nature and enjoy long walks around the hotel area during your stay. Assistance dogs are welcome free of charge, please contact the hotel directly.

Parking is available in our two courtyards at a cost of SEK 130 per 24 hours. We have a few parking spaces that can be booked in advance. Reservations can be made via reception on 021-10 28 00. We can also offer two charging stations for your electric car.

At Elite HStadshotellet we want to promote health and therefore we offer all who likes to run and exercise default routes in the app Runkeeper. We have produced our favourite rounds as you can easily follow, three routes of varying length from 2,7 to 10 kilometres.

Route C - Rocklunda (10 km)
Laundry and dry cleaning left at reception before 9am can be collected the same day. Available Monday-Friday.

History of the hotel
In 1898, plans were drawn up for a building in Västerås that would house a hotel, restaurant, hairdressing salon, off-license, and function venue. After a great deal of wrangling and five years of decisions being passed backward and forward, the new building was completed in 1907. Architect Erik Hahr had succeeded in creating an art nouveau building is still regarded today as one of the most beautiful buildings in Sweden.
In the rear courtyard of the hotel, there were stables and a punch distillery, also designed by Hahr. Almost immediately after the hotel was opened, the name was changed to Stadshotellet. The hotel had 40 rooms, large dining rooms, a banquet floor, and a music cafe. It was also the first building in Västerås to have flushing toilets, which at the time was the height of luxury and a sign of progress and modern thinking.

Renovations have been guided with great care to maintain the impressive character of abuilding. The Hahrska Suite offers an open living space, which includes a sitting room and a bedroom. Bathroom with bath and shower.
The decor reminds more of an exclusive apartment and is an ideal space for a business meeting. Parquet flooring, soft carpets and beautiful details create a unique atmosphere. There are a comfortable sitting area and a dining table; the bedroom has an elegant double bed for a good night’s sleep.

Stockholm – Västerås Airport is about 10 minutes by car from the hotel.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport, frequent bus transfer between Västerås and Arlanda.
By car from E18
Take the Rocklundamotet turn-off and drive towards the city centre (Centrum). Drive along Vasagatan into the centre, turn right to Biskopsgatan and then first left to Östra Kyrkogatan. The hotel is opposite the square.
By train
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the central station. Walk from the main entrance across the street and towards the park. Go through the park towards the city centre. Continue along Vasagatan to Stora Torget and Elite Stadshotellet.
By bus
There are several bus stops close to the hotel, the closest is Vasagatan, about 50 metres from us.
