Our facilities are awarded with the international eco-label Green Key. We commit not only to adhere to Swedish environmental legislation but to continuously promote initiatives in this area. It is about reducing our energy and water consumption, increasing our use of environmentally certified washing powders and cleaning agents, sorting waste and making transportation to and from our hotels more efficient.
We routinely document our efforts and work actively to drive our environmental work forward and to ensure that we are always progressing. Our ambition is not only to satisfy the requirements for environmental certification but to surpass these as well. Here you can learn more about our environmental work.

About Green Key
Green Key is managed by Green Key Sweden and internationally by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). The FEE was formed in 1981 and is an international umbrella organisation for environmental organisations. Green Key is supported by the World Tourism Organization and the United Nations Environment Programme. Accommodation premises or conference facilities that are Green Key certified actively work to reduce their environmental impact by satisfying a wide range of criteria within, for example, environmental management, guest information, water, waste, chemical use and foodstuffs. Among other things, it relates to waste sorting, minimising energy and water consumption, opting for environmentally certified cleaning agents and procuring local produce and organic ingredients. Mandatory external inspections must be carried out regularly in order to acquire and retain a Green Key Eco-Rating.
