We care about your integrity and are committed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to secure your personal data. Elite Hotels of Sweden (SE-556248-5259) collect and use personal data from our hotel guests and members of our loyalty program, Elite Hotels Rewards. Personal data is information from which a living individual can be directly or indirectly identified as a physical person. Elite Hotels is responsible for the personal data that you provide us.

We use your personal data to administer and process bookings, optimize and develop our services as well as customizing the communication with you before, during and after your stay. Your personal data is secured in accordance with the current legislation.

This is how we use personal data:

• To administer, supply, develop and support the hotel services that you purchase from us
• To process your bookings and orders
• To keep you updated about your booking status and other relevant information before, during and after your stay with us. Via text messages, other mobile applications or e-mails for example.
• To personalize our communication with you and provide you with relevant offers
• To view and analyze statistics and user behaviour
• To market our services and products

You can request that we stop using your personal data for marketing purposes at any time.

The Personal Data and Integrity Policy is together with Elite Hotels Rewards’ Terms and conditions the foundation of how we collect and use personal data. Changes to our terms and policies are announced and shared here on elite.se and we recommend that you review these regularly.

If you provide us with other peoples personal data (for example a group booking), it is your responsibility that permission is given to use their data in accordance with this Personal Data and Integration Policy.

We use several methods to collect personal data; through booking dialogues, cookies, beacons and Elite Hotels member services. It is important that our data is accurate and therefore we import personal data from external sources, such as public records. Elite Hotels is not responsible for any issues that arise because of your personal information being incorrect.

We only collect personal data that is relevant for above mentioned services. We collect:

• First name and surname
• Address
• Birth data
• Telephone number
• E-mail address
• IP-address
• Log-in details
• Language
• User history
• Membership data
• Information about your travelling companions
• Booking preferences and special requirements
• Purchase history
• Information that you provide us in connection with your stay with us

We work with partners that ensure that our services and infrastructure work as intended and your personal data may be transferred to them. Our partners have signed a Personal Data Assistant Agreement to secure that your personal data will be used only for our services, in accordance with our instructions and the current legislation. Personal data may be shared if requested by the police or other public authorities and in connection with a criminal investigation and according to Swedish Legislation.

We will not store your personal data longer than necessary. The collected data is updated regularly and personal data that is no longer needed will be erased.

If you would like to see what personal data we store or if you want us to erase your data, you need to send us a written and signed request. We will ask you for identification to ensure we provide the information to the intended person.

If all or parts of Elite Hotels’ business are sold or integrated with another business, personal data may be disclosed to the buyer and his advisor.

Camera surveillance

To guarantee security and prevent crime, we monitor public areas in our hotels with the help of cameras. This means that if you visit our hotels, you may be filmed with such equipment. We want to be able to offer a safer and more secure environment for you as a guest, for our employees and to protect our property.
